abstract deadline is Sunday, 13 January 2008.
‘Ongoing Trials’ can be submitted
until Monday, 5 May 2008.
All accepted abstracts will be published in a
supplement of the journal Cerebrovascular Diseases.

Credits
The 17th European
Stroke Conference (Teaching Courses, main congress scientific programme and
scientific symposia, excluding satellite symposia) will be accredited by the
European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). EACCME
is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists UEMS (www.uems.be).

Satellite Symposium on TIA
On
Tuesday, 13 May 2008 the second edition of the symposium on TIA is held in Nice,
France.
Separate registration is required for this event.
Exhibition
An industrial exhibition
will take place during the conference. Companies from all over the world will be
given ample opportunity to display products as well as to promote services and
technical innovations.
Companies interested in exhibiting at ESC 2008 should contact the Administrative
Secretariat.
Final
Programme
The
Final Programme will be distributed to all participants at the conference along
with all other congress documentation.
Insurance
The
congress organisers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or
for loss or damage of property belonging to congress participants (or their
accompanying persons), either during or as a result of the congress. Please
check the validity of your own insurance.
Language
The congress language is English.
Simultaneous translation will only be provided for the Nursing and AHP programme
on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Letters of Invitation
The organisers will be pleased to mail letters of invitation to conference
participants requesting this service. It is to be understood that such an
invitation letter is intended to help to raise travel funds or to obtain visa.
It is not a commitment on the part of the conference to provide any financial
support. You may request such a letter from the Administrative Secretariat.
Lunches
Lunch packs will be distributed to conference participants on Wednesday and
Thursday.
Nursing and AHP Programme
Following the successful event in Glasgow, nurses and allied health
professionals are invited to attend a comprehensive teaching programme on
Tuesday and Wednesday.
Separate registration is required for this event.
Poster Exhibition
The poster sessions are
scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday.
Press
Accredited journalists are
welcome to attend ESC 2008 free of charge. Please download and complete the
Registration Form, on which you are required to clearly mark "Press", and return
it to the Administrative Secretariat together with a copy of your press card.

Visa Requirements
